In the late morning of Tuesday, July 22, 2025, the life of 48-year-old Charmeka Flowers, a Black/African American woman, was tragically cut short in a Racine, Wisconsin neighborhood. Flowers was a cherished mother of six and a substitute teacher for the Racine Unified School District, known by her loved ones as a pillar of her community.
