On a late summer evening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of Ramerro L. Malone, a 36-year-old Black/African American man, was tragically cut short. On September 18, 2023, what began as an ordinary day ended in a burst of fatal violence near the intersection of 29th and Wells. Malone was riding his bicycle around 4:30 p.m. when he was ambushed in a targeted attack. The suspects, who had been lying in wait in a car, opened fire as he passed by.
