On April 19, 2023, 22-year-old Eliza Mae Arthurs was found with a gunshot wound to the head in a field near East 595 Road and South 4230 Road in Inola, Oklahoma. Emergency responders transported her to a Tulsa hospital, where she remained in critical condition until succumbing to her injuries on April 20.
