In the quiet farming community of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, the lives of 64-year-old Virginia Denney and her husband, Richard, were tragically cut short on January 8, 1990. Their peaceful existence was shattered by a trio of individuals on a violent crime spree. The perpetrators, led by Robert Wesley Knighton, arrived at the Denney's farmhouse in need of assistance with their vehicle, which was running out of gas.
