In the early morning hours of April 30, 2023, the life of 31-year-old Zyron Deonte Owens, a Black male, was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. The incident unfolded in a parking lot at the Shoppes at Quail Springs on Memorial Road in northwest Oklahoma City. As patrons were exiting an establishment around 2:19 a.m., an unknown individual opened fire, forever altering the lives of several people.
