In the summer of 2023, a family argument in a southeast Oklahoma City mobile home park escalated into a tragedy that claimed the life of 58-year-old Danny Grenzebach. On the evening of July 8th, Oklahoma City police were dispatched to a residence at 4301 Apollo Drive following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Grenzebach inside the home, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
Investigators learned that an altercation had occurred between Danny Grenzebach and
another family member, his 42-year-old nephew, Joshua Driever. At the time of the incident, both men were living together at the Apollo Drive address. The argument reportedly intensified, leading to the fatal shooting of Grenzebach.
Initially, Joshua Driever fled the scene on foot, prompting a search by law enforcement. He was later discovered hiding in the backyard of the same residence. Driever was subsequently taken into custody and arrested on a complaint of First-Degree Murder in connection with his uncle's death.
