On August 3, 2023, Sean Haddock, a 36-year-old resident of Edmond, Oklahoma, was fatally shot by his sister, Jennifer Haddock, an off-duty Edmond Police Department lieutenant. The incident occurred at their mother's apartment following an argument over furniture ownership. Jennifer Haddock called 911 at 9:28 a.m., reporting that she had shot her brother in the "upper right pectoral muscle" with a .40-caliber handgun.
