On August 7, 2023, Tulsa police responded to a shooting incident near West 48th Street and South 33rd West Avenue in west Tulsa, Oklahoma. Upon arrival, they discovered 30-year-old Kori Shaver with a gunshot wound to the head. She was found sitting in the driver's side back seat of a car that was still running.
