On September 10, 2023, 73-year-old Lynda Watts was found deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at her home near Northeast 122nd Street and Midwest Boulevard in Jones, Oklahoma. Initially reported as a suicide, subsequent investigations revealed the involvement of her daughter, 44-year-old Jaydee Watts, who was her primary caregiver.
