On a late summer morning in Parkland, Washington, a suburb of Tacoma, a burst of violence at a bus stop shattered the quiet of the neighborhood. It was August 22, 2023, when 18-year-old Jordan Copley, a Caucasian male, found himself in a heated argument with 41-year-old Robert Daly-Romero. The dispute, which took place near 112th Street South and 12th Avenue South, escalated with dreadful rapidity. In a tragic turn of events, both men produced firearms and shot at each other.
