Nicholaus 'Nikk' Michael Ahlstrand, aged 44, tragically lost his life on August 24, 2022, in Tacoma, Washington. On that evening, at approximately 6:33 p.m., officers were dispatched to a drive-by shooting at 3611 S. 31st St. Upon arrival, they found Ahlstrand inside the residence with a gunshot wound to his chest. Despite the officers' efforts to provide first aid, Ahlstrand was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation revealed that the shots were fired from a stolen Ford F-350,
which was later found burned in Lewis County. Detectives also identified a possible connection to a silver convertible BMW sedan, believed to be stolen, which may have been involved in the incident. The Tacoma Police Department has been actively seeking information from the public to identify the suspect responsible for this heinous crime.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and the case remains unsolved. The Tacoma Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding Ahlstrand's death and has urged anyone with information to come forward.
