In the early evening hours of a Friday in Seattle, a sequence of events unfolded that would irrevocably alter the lives of a local family. On September 8, 2023, Irvin Tang Nguyen, a 39-year-old Asian man, was found shot and critically injured near the intersection of 25th Avenue South and South McClellan Street.
