In the early hours of May 7, 2017, the life of 30-year-old James C. Little Jr., an African American man from Seattle, Washington, was tragically cut short. Known affectionately as "Bookie" to his loved ones, he was a man remembered for his vibrant spirit and the happiness he brought to those around him. The night he died, he was at the Taradise Cafe in the White Center neighborhood, celebrating a friend's birthday.
