On September 10, 2023, 29-year-old Mohamed Othman was found deceased in his vehicle near the intersection of 116th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 320th Street in Auburn, Washington. Responding to a report of a single gunshot heard in the area shortly after 7 a.m., Auburn Police officers arrived to discover Othman in the driver's seat, having suffered a gunshot wound to the torso. First responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
