In the late afternoon of August 23, 2024, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace at the intersection of North 18th Avenue and Willow Street in Yakima, Washington. When the sound faded, 30-year-old Tolerance Rushing Waters Jackson lay dead from a gunshot wound. The male victim had been walking north when the incident occurred.
