In the quiet residential neighborhood of Yakima, Washington, the morning of June 14, 2025, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 66-year-old Rogelio Rodriguez, a Hispanic/Latino male. A 9-1-1 call just after 9 a.m. reported a shooting in the 1200 block of Pleasant Avenue, drawing law enforcement to a grim scene.
