Jose Silva, a 23-year-old Hispanic male, was found deceased on January 6, 2015, in Yakima, Washington. His body was discovered by a cable technician behind a vacant home on Mahre Road. An autopsy later confirmed that Silva had died from multiple gunshot wounds. Further examination revealed that he had been shot in the head and chest. The investigation into his death was handled by the Yakima County Sheriff's Office.
