On August 28, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Vancouver, Washington, resulting in the death of 39-year-old Keomany Phetchitvathanalay. The victim was found deceased inside a tent in the 3500 block of Northeast 66th Avenue, where she had been sleeping. The Clark County Medical Examiner's Office determined that Phetchitvathanalay died from multiple gunshot wounds, and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.
