In the early hours of March 5, 2023, David J. Thomas, a 27-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was tragically killed in a shooting incident that also claimed the life of 28-year-old Ziyadah Brown. The Columbus Police responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 3:30 a.m. near the intersection of South Souder Avenue and West Mound Street.
