On March 28, 2023, 23-year-old Tabias Rodolfo Letrez Cunningham was fatally shot during a pickup basketball game at the Esporta Fitness gym on Hilliard Rome Road in Columbus, Ohio. Witnesses reported that Cunningham had just finished a game when an argument ensued with another individual, leading to the shooting.
