Jamie Garrett, a 26-year-old male from Columbus, Ohio, tragically passed away on August 2, 2016. His death was the result of a shooting incident that occurred at a residence in Franklinton, Columbus. Garrett was shot by Kalawn Rashad Lammkin, who forced his way into the home with the intent to harm the mother of his toddler. During the altercation, Garrett was shot and later succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.

Following the shooting, Lammkin fled the scene with his one-year-old son. ...
