Kelvin Lee Porter, a 54-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on January 12, 2018, in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred around 1:18 a.m. when Columbus Police officers responded to a report of a home invasion and gunshots at 580 South Napoleon Avenue. Upon arrival, they found Porter lying in the driveway, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to Grant Medical Center, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 2:03 a.m.
