Larenz was the oldest of three sons and had a loving family, including two daughters. He was known for his kind spirit, love for family, music, helping others, playing cards, and his passion for football.
On the day of his death, Larenz was at his girlfriend's house watching television and eating chips when
multiple shots were fired in the area. A bullet entered the house through the front window and struck Larenz, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred at approximately 6:13 p.m., and the Columbus Police Department responded to the ShotSpotter alert.
Despite the ongoing investigation, there have been no arrests or suspects identified in connection with Larenz's death. The case remains unsolved, and the Columbus Police Department continues to seek information from the public to bring justice to Larenz's family.
