On May 1, 2005, Tyrun Malik Hill, aged 29, was shot and killed in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred during a violent shootout between rival gangs—the Short North Posse and the D Block gang—in the South Linden neighborhood. Hill was caught in the crossfire, resulting in his death from a gunshot wound. The shooting took place near 935 Morse Road in Franklin County, and despite investigations by the Columbus Police Department, no arrests have been made, and the case remains unsolved.
