On July 7, 2013, Martavious Arnold, aged 31, was tragically shot and killed in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred at approximately 10:20 p.m. when Martavious Arnold and another victim, Glen Simley, were sitting in a car parked in front of 930 Oakwood Avenue. Both victims were shot while inside the vehicle, which rolled forward and came to rest against an embankment at the intersection of Oakwood Avenue and Forest Street.
Martavious Arnold was transported to Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival. Glen Simley succumbed to his injuries later, at around 2:26 a.m. on July 8, 2013.
