On October 31, 2024, at approximately 8:59 PM, Columbus police officers responded to a shooting incident in the 1000 block of Fordham Road in the Maize-Morse neighborhood on Columbus' North Side. Upon arrival, they found Dennis Peoples III, a 37-year-old white male, suffering from a gunshot wound in front of a residence.
