D'Ante Smith, aged 15, was tragically killed on May 11, 2017, in Columbus, Ohio. The incident took place at around 11:31 p.m. in an alley behind 3115 Bremen Street. Columbus Police responded to a report of an unresponsive male after nearby residents heard several gunshots approximately 15 to 20 minutes earlier. When officers arrived, they discovered D'Ante lying in the alley, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound.
