Jesse Cervantez III, a 16-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on July 15, 2015, in Columbus, Ohio. He was shot in front of his home on the South Side, near the corner of Reeb Avenue and S. 6th Street. Jesse was found shot on the sidewalk and died shortly after at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center. The incident occurred around 3 p.m., and witnesses reported hearing about five gunshots.
