On May 17, 2014, Tyrone Hilton, aged 50, was fatally shot during a violent home invasion at 1352 Terrace Lane in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred around 10:14 p.m. when two armed men broke into the residence, attempting to rob Lamont Quarterman, another occupant of the apartment. During the robbery, both Quarterman, aged 28, and Tyrone Hilton were shot by the assailants.
