Death by Force

On October 31, 2017, 26-year-old De Angelo Marquis Smith was shot and killed in southeast Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred around 10:40 p.m. on the 3300 block of Tradan Drive. Smith was sitting inside a car when he was shot during an apparent robbery attempt. In an effort to escape, Smith attempted to drive away but ultimately crashed the vehicle into a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene by responding officers.
