Roosevelt Carroll III, a 31-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was tragically shot and killed on July 5, 2023, in an incident that occurred in the Italian Village neighborhood. The shooting took place around 12:15 a.m., where both Carroll and his father, Roosevelt Carroll Jr., aged 57, were found with gunshot wounds. While the elder Carroll survived the attack, his son succumbed to his injuries at the scene shortly after being discovered by authorities.
