Joseph Alexander Pollock, a 30-year-old resident of Chillicothe, Ohio, tragically lost his life on July 5, 2023. The incident occurred at 189 East 4th Street in Chillicothe, where police responded to reports of gunshots and a person on the ground at approximately 2:08 PM.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers found Pollock suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately rushed to Adena Regional Medical Center for treatment, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
Eyewitness accounts and video evidence suggest that the shooting was a drive-by attack, with the suspect arriving on a motorcycle, opening fire on Pollock, and then fleeing the scene.
In connection with this fatal shooting, the Chillicothe Police Department identified and arrested Cameron Crews as the primary suspect. Crews was subsequently charged with the murder of Joseph Pollock. The case progressed, and by May 2024, it was reported that the killer in this drive-by murder had pleaded guilty. The legal proceedings revealed that Cameron D. Crews was formally indicted for the July 5th shooting murder of Joseph Pollock on East 4th Street.
