On September 7, 2023, 22-year-old Damien D. Lake was tragically killed in a double homicide on East Auburndale Avenue in Youngstown, Ohio. The incident also claimed the life of 30-year-old Jashai Lynnique Benson and left a 26-year-old man injured. The Mahoning County Coroner's Office confirmed the identities of the deceased, and autopsies were conducted by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.
