On October 17, 2023, Barron Brown, a 53-year-old resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, was fatally shot in Westwood. Emergency responders arrived at Ferncrest Court shortly after 8 PM and found him suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident has been classified as a homicide, prompting an investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department's Homicide Unit.
