On February 5, 2024, at approximately 1:15 AM, Columbus police officers were dispatched to the Noir Lounge, located in the 100 block of West Cherry Street in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Upon arrival, they discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds near the entrance of the club. One of the victims was identified as 24-year-old Percell E. Scott III.
Tragically, both Scott and the other victim, 25-year-old Nigel Jackson Jr., succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
The Columbus Division of Police reported that both men were pronounced dead about 10 minutes after officers arrived.
As of February 21, 2024, no arrests had been made in connection with this case, and information about potential suspects was not available to the public. The Columbus police have released pictures of vehicles that may be connected to the deadly shooting, hoping to gather more information from the public.
