Jamieson Ritter, a 27-year-old police officer with the Cleveland Division of Police, was tragically killed in the line of duty on July 4, 2024. Officer Ritter, who had served with the department for four years and was assigned to the Third District, was shot while attempting to arrest a wanted suspect in the 1500 block of East 80th Street.
