Velonte Barnes, a 41-year-old African American man from Cleveland, OH, tragically passed away on October 26, 2015. His death was the result of a violent incident that occurred in Cleveland Heights, where he was approached by an armed individual during an attempted robbery at a BP convenience store on Monticello Boulevard.
