On July 14, 2024, at approximately 2 a.m., 21-year-old Perrion James was the victim of a drive-by shooting in the 900 block of Eleanor Avenue in West Toledo. Responding officers found James suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The Lucas County Coroner's Office conducted an autopsy on July 15, 2024, determining that James died from a gunshot wound to the chest, classif ...Read More
