Kamal Awwad, a 42-year-old male of Middle Eastern descent, was tragically shot and killed on December 24, 2016, at Al's Market in Toledo, OH. He was an employee at the convenience store, and the incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. when a robbery alarm was activated. Officers responded to the scene and found Awwad suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
