On July 18, 2024, Demarius Underwood, an 18-year-old from Dayton, Ohio, was tragically killed in a shooting incident that also claimed the life of 25-year-old Dejuan Hooker. The two men were discovered deceased inside a vehicle that had crashed into the back of a house on Cleverly Road around 3:50 PM. The Montgomery County Coroner's Office confirmed their identities shortly after the incident.
