On July 18, 2024, 25-year-old DeJuan L. Hooker was found deceased in a vehicle on Hoover Avenue near Cleverly Road in Dayton, Ohio. The Montgomery County Coroner's Office identified Hooker and 18-year-old Demarius Underwood as the two men discovered at the scene. Both individuals had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
