Elsie M. Elsinga, aged 85, was last seen on February 16, 1997, at her residence in Port Richey, Florida. On the evening of her disappearance, Elsie spoke with her daughter, who lived next door, around 8:00 p.m. The following morning, her daughter found a note from Elsie stating, "I messed up my life and going away.
