On August 29, 2024, Christian Alexander Tyson Thomas, an 18-year-old resident of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, was shot and killed by police officers responding to a domestic disturbance at his family home. The incident unfolded around 10:30 PM when officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Yellowstone Road after receiving reports of a fight between Christian and his father. Upon arrival, officers were informed that Christian was armed and had already fired a shot inside the house.
