On November 3, 2024, 37-year-old Chezarae Jackson of Cleveland, Ohio, was fatally shot. He was the father of Lotus Legaci Love Jones, a young girl who sustained critical injuries in February 2023 when a drunk driver, fleeing from East Cleveland police, collided with the vehicle she was in.
