On May 22, 2020, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Cleveland police responded to a shooting incident outside Miles Elementary School, located at 11918 Miles Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 34-year-old Michael Smith, a male from Cleveland, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest.
