Danjae Parker, age 23, was shot and killed on May 5, 2012, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was sitting in a vehicle when the shooting occurred. According to reports, Parker sustained a gunshot wound to the head, and although he was taken to the hospital, he was eventually removed from life support on May 8, 2012. The driver of the vehicle was also shot in the upper body but survived the incident. The case remained under investigation, with no immediate arrests reported at the time.
