An 18-year-old male, Damien Navarro, was tragically killed in Phoenix, Arizona, on September 9, 2017. His life was cut short by two gunshot wounds to the head, and his body was discovered in a parking lot near 67th Avenue and Osborn Road in the early morning hours. This devastating event marked the second time the Navarro family had lost a son to violence, as Damien's older brother had also been killed at the age of 18 four years earlier.
