On the morning of June 30, 2023, at approximately 7 a.m., 36-year-old Marilyn "Ranae" Benham and her boyfriend, Jordan Green, were fatally shot in their residence in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. A neighbor reported hearing an argument followed by gunfire and promptly alerted authorities. The suspect attempted to conceal the crime by disposing of their bodies in a desert area.
