On December 19, 2023, 37-year-old Earl Thomas Romo was fatally shot at Knockouts Gentlemen's Club in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. following an altercation between two groups inside the establishment. Responding officers found Romo wounded; he later succumbed to his injuries.
