On July 25, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Chamisal, New Mexico, resulting in the deaths of 14-year-old Faith Flores and 69-year-old Ruben Martinez. The double shooting took place at the home of Manuel Martinez, who is Ruben's 76-year-old brother.

According to reports, Faith Flores was spending time with Ruben Martinez, riding a four-wheeler, when they got into an altercation with Manuel Martinez. The confrontation escalated, and Manuel allegedly shot and killed both Ruben and Faith. ...
